Where I discovered my love for pizza with savory meat on top!

Back in the day, I remember the first time I ever tasted a wood oven-baked pizza. As a child, I recall thinking this was the greatest discovery ever in history. It was back in 2007 and my family was going out to a local restaurant to celebrate the end of the year. I was shocked to see a massive stone oven for the first time in my life. The chefs were carefully placing this fresh dough with a vibrant number of toppings on it into the oven. The aroma of a sweet tomato sauce, shredded mozzarella, and smoky, rich meat filled the room. Watching it be transformed into a crispy brown crust with a delectable layer of melted cheese and every kind of savory meat you could want right on top of the dish. I had never seen a more delicious looking meal in front of me before. After having the first bite of that pizza, I knew it was the start of many more to come in the future. That is why I created this site, to connect all meat lovers pizza fans together.

Are there are region specific Meat lovers Pizza?

Regional pizza styles appear all over the globe for many reasons. From traditions, and ingredients available in the region to even history. Its popularity rises again and again in every region with its own little twist to it with different kinds of ingredients and meat on it. For example, I went to a town that is known for seafood and they incorporate seafood like fish as a topping on their pizza. In Greece, what’s more widely known is Greek lamb pizza, which has amazing reviews wherever you try it. I have friends who always cook me meals with their own greek touch to everything and its amazing. Some locations have long winters like Chicago so they created deep-dish pizza which is extremely thick and comforting foods on it from only cheese or would be covered with layers of beef. That’s the beauty of the world, people are creative with different resources constantly creating new kinds of food to enjoy. The meat pizza that you and I love could have a whole different twist in a different region.

Most delicious sides to go with a smoky meat lovers’ pizza?

I love having some friends over and ordering a mouth watering, smoky meat lovers pizza but sometimes they are lacking sides. Here are some of my favorite sides and other people’s sides to go along with a meaty pizza. There are choices from what you're craving, depending on savory or sweet sides. Want some fries go along side that pizza, well nothing beats my favorite like Sweet Potatoes fries with some chipotle dipping sauce. Get that salty snack along side slice with lot of meat on it. Deciding that you need a healthier snack with the pizza, lots of people lover salads on the side. Getting something that is crunchy and fresh-tasting will be the perfect balance. Maybe it’s a night where you have all the friends over watching a football game. Can never go wrong with side of spicy chicken wings. Nothing makes my mouth water more then getting saucy spicy fingers. If it’s a night you need to carb up, go make yourself a side of Garlic Bread. Fully dive into the Italian side of dinner. There is really no wrong answer to what you can have for a side with a meaty pizza. Be creative and think outside the box. Make sure you have a meal to remember with your friends and enjoy the good time.

Can meat lovers’ pizza be gluten free?

There is no need to worry. You can satisfy your pizza cravings with gluten-free pizza. I have a sister who is Celiac, so I grew up with making lots of pizza dough that had to be gluten free. There are lots of different kinds of dough out there that will still let you enjoy your meat lovers pizza. The dough will be replaced with a gluten-free ingredient like almonds, rice, corn, or beans. Some curst will also use potato or tapioca. It all depends on where you order it from but there are many solutions out there to crunch your cravings.
